Testimonials

Peter FrintonCanadaWe stayed August 19th-26th, 2009, after finding 'Apartment Services'on-line. I chose this offering because of location, price and therecommendation of the Apartment Service personnel. At 650 GBP/ week, the price was lower than other similar units advertised on VRBO, orvia other agencies. The owner graciously met us upon arrival (earlier than normal check-in, plus we were afforded a late check out), and showed us through thenewly redone, modern unit. At approx 50 sq metres, there was more than enough room for two for a week. The 6 storey building is locateda scant block from Leicester Square a blessing for itsconvenience. Thebuilding is plain, but clearly well kept and secure. The owners at Huguenot House appeared to be upscale professionals. The unit itself was well laid out, a bit too techie for our tastes(shower with changing light colours and inset tv, very fancy appliances that took a while to get used to). However, it was morethan comfortable. The views are phenomenal; the unit is on the top floor- with panoramas including London Eye, Big Ben, Nelson's monument, plus myriad churchspires. There is an alcove in the hall way outside the flat, which, though technically common property, is effectively used only by the one unit. Hugh, the owner, has placed a clothes dryer in this area, plus it has nice views towards Shaftesbury Avenue. The ventilation was good, with several opening windows, and there appears to be goodcentral hydronic heating. Lots of storage. There is a Tesco store on Regent, two blocks away, plus any number of restaurants within a 2-10 minute walk. A pub across the street. Plus,of course, all the West End theatres, St. Martin's in the Field for noon concerts, the National, and Portrait Gallery, Trafalgar Squarewithin minutes. So for anyone wanting to be right in the West End, and desiring theirown cooking facilities, this is ideal.I would rate this about 7.5 out of 10, overall, and 9 out of 10 for value. I'd recommend to all.
