Testimonials

Name: Ray RodriguezCity/Country:PASADENA/USAMy wife and I went to London in December 2010 on Holiday. After scouring the web for unique, ran across the loft in Barbican. This truly was the find of the trip. Its in a great location: close to 2 tube stations, bay window on a lake (in the city), onsite pub, food commons, performing arts center, and movie theatre. There is a wagamamas and a marks & spencer within a block and food market just a little further daily. The location was cozy and warm and it scored a 10 for us.Despite all of this, it is an apartment it still gets a 10. It was a great trip and we enjoyed this loft. We will be back.
Name: Peter GreenoContry/State: Co. Durham/ UKWe find Andrewes House a clean, comfortable apartment with easy access and good transport links.A few good restaurants locally along with local shops and a supermarket. An ideal location for sightseeing, late night expeditions, theatre and Museums and seeing friends and Family."
Andrada Popescu/New Jesey, USAWe stayed at Barbican for 10 days at the end of August 2007. We had no problem receiving the keys from the parking attendendand we got ourselves ( a family of 3) into an apartment beyond our expectations. The pictures don't do justice at all to one of the most convenient, clean, well equiped place we ever stayed in all our vacations. Having a 6 year old, we also appreciated the locationas we were able to walk to most of the London's landmarks. 5 Minutes to St Paul's Cathedral, 15 minutes from Tower of London-London Bridge, London's Museum 2 minutes, 25 minutes to British Museums. Many places to eat healthy and convenient just 5 minutes walk (I should mention Pret-a-manger you'll find it everywhere in London). The bus or tube station 5 minutes walk, but for 3+ people it may be comparable to a taxi fare (when tired or just for fun-kids love it!!). Grocery stores Tesco or Mark and Spencer less then 10 minutes walk . Also from any of the bridges (10-15 minutes walk) you can take a Tamisa TourBoat-this is how we got to the Parliament-Big Ben).In a very expensive city (and we come from another expensive one), finding this apartment at Barbican was the best deal we made and set the mood for a wonderful vacation. We have not one single complain,Andrada from NYPS Did I mention the nice backyard were we drank our tea all tired at night, or the wonderfull view of the waterfall from the Living room? As I am booking our next vacation in another european country I can only hope we will get the same accomodation...but what are the chances?
Name: Phoebe FieldinfCountry/State: USA/CaliforniaWe enjoyed the apartment. This is the second time that we have found a place through you and both apartments have been very good.
Name: CarmelMiley/Aberdeenshire UKMy Feedback from my stay in London is that the St Andrews House was very clean and the cleaning service was unobtrusive. I never saw the cleaning people but you knew they had been there and done their job. The location was perfect for our time in London and the maps and information at the apartment very helpful. The garden terrace was a particularly nice feature and it was nice to unwind there after a hard day of sightseeing in London. I would use the apartment again if I travelled to London in the future.
name: Jean Shelleycountry: ACT.AustraliaWe have just spent 3 weeks in this flat and found it extremely comfortable, very clean and fitted out with everything you could possibly want for a comfortable and convenient stay in London. The flat has been "done up" in many ways since the photographs were taken for the attached add. It is bright and airy and in fact was so comfortable we thought we were back living and working in London again.Would thoroughly recommend the flat to anyone looking for great value, clean, comfortable and convenient accommodation, close to all amenities.Note if you are disabled there are 5 steps down into the lounge area, though this should not be a problem.
Name: CatherineCountry: Melbourne, AustraliaWe stayed stayed for 2 weeks over Christmas 2010. This extremely comfortable flat accommodated my husband and me and our 16 year old sonexceptionally well. Although there is only one separate bedroom, thedownstairs sitting room has a big comfortable pull-out sofa bed (and flat screen TV) and it can be curtained off for privacy at night. The flat islocated under the podium level and looks out on the water and the giantlit-up Christmas tree. It is scrupulously clean with a modern kitchen & bathroom. Good shower with plenty of hot water. High quality stove, oven, dishwasher & washer/dryer - great to cook in with good supply of crockery, glassware & cutlery so we were able to have family visit for smallChristmas celebrations. Outstanding location in the Barbican which is ofgreat historical and cultural interest to us. Previous testimonials describe proximity to underground stations (Moorgate is closest and has 5 underground lines), shopping & various sights. Foodies would be interestedin the fact that the Borough Market is just over London Bridge (2 tube stops). And the Globe Theatre can be reached on foot over the Millenium Bridge just past St Paul's Cathedral. The Barbican itself provides theatre, dance & cinema plus cafes & restaurant and the fabulous little mediaeval church of St Giles-without-Cripplegate on the doorstep. And one can be at the London Museum in 5 minutes using the high walks. We also hired a car and used the very convenient underground car park. We will stay again.
